January’s Activities
1. “The Sea: Before and After”
Each school creates two paintings or collages: One with a clean, beautiful sea full of life. One with a polluted sea, full of garbage and plastic. The images from all schools are uploaded to a digital comparative album/e-book entitled “Protect Our Sea”, giving rise to discussion and comparisons.
2. Cοllaborative fairy tale
Summary: The Earth feels tired and sad from pollution and climate change. She decides to send a message to all the children of the world, telling them how to help. Each school gives its own opinion and creates a painting. In the end, the Earth smiles again.

February’s Activities
1. Don’t throw left-over meals. Transform them!
Share recipes for transforming left-overs. Each school presents a picture of a left-over meal in its own page and other schools choose the one they like most, suggesting a way to transform it (take pupils opinion). Share photos of transformation in your page (pupil’s drawings, real cooking transformation),with a text, specifing which school’s recipe you transformed. Choose simple recipes with simple and easy to find ingredients (for example: boiled eggs, rice…). To succeed more impact, engage parents to try at home the transformation with their children.Instead of preparing a food recipe, leftovers can be transformed into something more artistic. For example, materials such as orange peels or eggshells can be used to create crafts by following the procedure described above.

2. Bike Day at our school.
A “Bike Day” is organized in every school. The children come with their bikes. We learn the parts of the bike and refer to safety rules and road traffic rules.
